Here are a few variations of tried and true honey cough syrup recipes (with and without whiskey) that have been traditional in many families who prefer to treat common ailments with natural methods.

  1. For several days I have been unable to stop coughing. I had an allergic reaction to regular old house dust. I have had a bad post nasal drainage which kept me coughing especially when I lay down. A friend told me to use honey and lemon juice. I did and the coughing stopped almost immediately. Great stuff!
